6. There's Going To Be A Seven-Part Dredd Series

Remember Dredd? Surprisingly good, wasn't it? So good, in fact, that fans of the Alex Garland-penned movie have been clamouring for a sequel ever since. No news on that front, of course (because life is super unfair), though there is hope. And last week, hope came in the form of a proposed "seven-part Dredd series," courtesy of producer Adi Shankar, who was also the guy behind Punisher: Dirty Laundry and Venom: Truth In Journalism. You'll recall that it was Karl Urban who made Dredd cool again in the 2012 reboot, though we're not currently aware as to whether he'll turn up in the series. Granted, it's possible, as Urban seems to adore the character and was pleased with the film - but it hasn't been made clear how the seven-part series will fall in with the films. Same universe with the same actors? Same universe with different actors? Different actors with... you get the idea.
