5. Bryan Mills' Wife Is Dead In Taken 3, Apparently

Despite the fact that she's been something of a major character in both Taken and Taken 2, the recently revealed trailer for the upcoming and very annoyingly titled third movie in the series - Tak3n - tells us that Bryan's beautiful wife, Lenore, is dead. Played by Famke Janssen, the trailer opens with the former couple having a few casual drinks, before Bryan goes in to check on her, only to find her dead. And then suddenly he's framed for her murder. This is the first movie in the Taken series to be set on Bryan's home turf in the USA (although going by that accent he could have been born anywhere). It seems odd that the marketing would reveal something like this in a mere trailer, or maybe we're just making a big deal out of the fact that Famke Janssen was a character that anybody cares about. At least it wasn't Kim who met her end, because otherwise what has been the point?
