10 Movie Villains Who Deserved MUCH WORSE

9. Hans - Frozen

When it released in 2013, Frozen saw massive success both critically and commercially, unparalleled even within the legendary world of Disney Animation. It received plaudits for many different reasons, one of which is Elsa (Idina Menzel) taking the very reasonable stance that Anna (Kristen Bell) should not marry a man that she just met.

While this is little more than common sense, it's rare within the world of Disney as all too often the moment 'Prince Charming' turns up is the moment the movie is saved. However, even though Anna had only met Prince Hans of the Southern Isles (Santino Fontana) that night, it also turned out that he was a horrendous person.

As 13th in line to the throne, Hans' plan was to manipulate and even kill both Anna and Elsa in order rule Arendelle in their stead. He was even under the impression that he had successfully killed the younger sister, and was mere millimeters away from killing the eldest before being stopped.

His punishment for attempting to murder the queen and overthrow the entire country? Little more than being sent home to be beaten up by his 12 older brothers. He can even be seen in the Frozen Fever short shovelling snow on the Southern Isles, which proves he was on the receiving end of no more than a slap on the wrist.
