10 Movie Villains Who Deserved MUCH WORSE

5. Lewis Dodgson - Jurassic Park

You could argue that the true villain of the entire Jurassic Park franchise is John Hammond. If it weren't for him, there would be no dinosaurs around to hurt anyone, and as Alan Grant (Sam Neill) said in Jurassic Park III, some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions. However, in terms of villains at least in the original movie, it's hard to look past Lewis Dodgson (Cameron Thor).

Dodgson was the man who met with Wayne Knight's Dennis Nedry and paid him to retrieve the dinosaur embryos from the park. He's the reason why Nedry shut the security systems down, he's the reason the Tyrannosaurus Rex got loose, and he's the reason that four people died on that weekend. All because his company, Biosyn, was too far behind InGen to catch up without some industrial espionage.

Despite that, the man responsible for everything that happened suffered absolutely no consequences in Jurassic Park. Since Nedry was the only one who knew he was involved, any ties to Dodgson died in the car with that Dilophosaurus.

As well as facing no retribution for his actions, Dodgson was even able to put the world at risk again in Jurassic World: Dominion with his prehistoric locusts, and had Ian Malcolm working for him without the chaotician ever knowing that it was his new boss that was responsible for the events at Jurassic Park. Dodgson killed multiple people, and nothing ever came back to him.
