10 Movie Villains Who Made One Wrong Move

The Wrong Move

In fairness, the villainous Jafar (Jonathan Freeman) is a bit of a goof throughout Disney's classic animation, but he only makes one true, irredeemable mistake at the tail-end of the movie, and it's one that costs him everything.

In the film's finale, Jafar has the decisive upper-hand over Aladdin (Scott Weinger), but allows himself to be epically trolled by Aladdin, who insists that being "second best" to the Genie (Robin Williams) isn't good enough, prompting Jafar to use his last wish to become the most powerful genie in existence.

What Jafar forgets, of course, is that this also damns him to a lifetime of servitude and, er, living inside a tiny lamp. And with that, Aladdin wins.

What They Should've Done

This is so simple and fixed with nothing more than the change of a few words. Had Jafar wished to become the most powerful creature or entity in the universe and simply not used the word "genie", his plan surely would've gone off without a hitch.
