10 Movie Villains Who Were More Far Interesting Than The Heroes

7. The Terminator - The Terminator

There's a reason Arnold Schwarzenegger was retained for the first two sequels and then had his face digitally inserted in the much maligned fourth installment, it's because he was the most interesting thing in the first movie. The deadly, imposing nature of Arnie's Terminator is what made him such a famous creation as he hunted down Sarah Connor with brutal relentlessness. The heroes of the first Terminator movie are Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese and despite their likeability the movie belongs to The Terminator. For his look alone, The Terminator is one of the coolest and most intimidating characters in movie history. Built like a professional wrestler and cloaked in a leather jacket, The Terminator is a formidable presence and sorely missed every minute he is not on screen. Michael Biehn's Kyle Reese and Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor are great characters but that only heightens the power of the deadly machine as it's clear they are powerful opposing forces.
