10 Movie Villains With Insanely Ironic Deaths

Mason Verger is a wealthy, sadistic paedophile who is sent for court-ordered therapy after being arrested for child abuse. Unluckily for him, the therapist he is sent to is Hannibal Lecter. At a session with Mason, Lecter convinces him to take a cocktail of drugs and then cut his own face off with a broken mirror, leaving him horribly disfigured and paralyzed.

Mason becomes obsessed with getting revenge on Lecter by trying to get him executed for committing a series of murders. However, when this fails due to Lecter being found not guilty by reason of insanity, Mason hatches another plot to breed and train a pack of wild boars to eat Lecter.

After capturing Lecter and preparing to carry out his revenge, Mason is defeated when Lecter manages to escape. Lecter suggests to Mason’s physician that he could finally be free of his despised boss by pushing him into the boar pen. Mason falls and is ironically devoured by the boars in the same way he had trained them to behave.
