This epic historical drama tells the tale of Thomas Edward Lawrence and his experiences with the Ottoman Empire during World War I.

The film focuses on Lawrence’s greatest achievements, such as his role in uniting the Arabian desert tribes to fight the Turkish forces and conquer both Aqaba and Damascus.

The film also focuses on Lawrence himself, as he struggles with the violence of war, his own identity and his allegiance between his home of Britain and his new brothers-in-arms within his command.

The enormous scale of Lawrence’s story is only matched by the incredible work put into making the film about his life. Peter O’Toole’s give a compelling and layered performance as Lawrence, the music highlights the epic journey he is taking while the cinematography captures the majesty of the deserts.

If you are yet to see Lawrence of Arabia, then you must do so as soon as possible. Although, planning ahead would be wise, as the full film is roughly 4 hours long.
