Never heard of these flicks? Well, you should've by now.

Whether it was poor marketing or just not enough attention from the media, there are a lot of great films out there that went unnoticed during their box office runs. David Fincher€™s masterpiece Fight Club was marketed towards a specific male demographic and its US box office run brought in just over half of its $63 million budget, but only a few months later the film went on to generate $100 million from home video. Point is it can take a while for cult followings to truly develop, sometimes longer than others. There are in fact several forgotten films that are deserving of the cult status but continue to fly under the radar several years later. Some of these films still have the potential to blossom into cult favorites in a few years time, but for others it almost seems hopeless and makes you wonder if they€™ll ever find their appreciative audiences.
