Year Of Release: 1997 Rotten Tomatoes Score: 86% At the time of its release many people were disappointed with Quentin Tarantinos third feature film Jackie Brown, probably because there was so much hype around the film as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction came before it. Truth is, Jackie Brown is an underrated gem and may be one of Tarantinos best. Its less violent, balanced, well paced, and still has all the classic Tarantino elements such as pop culture references and slick dialogue. Over the years Jackie Brown has gained more appreciation, but its still one of Tarantinos less-popular films even though it deserves to be sit alongside Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
