10 Movies That Should Have Cult Followings By Now

10. Miami Vice

Year Of Release: 2006 Rotten Tomatoes Score: 47% The hit TV series from the 80s definitely has an active fan base, but what about the hit movie that came out in €™06? Michael Mann€™s modern day update to his famed TV series was anything but a flop, as it took in over $163 million worldwide, however critics and audiences alike disowned the film for its unorthodox structure and ordinary plot. Also, the film greatly differentiates itself from the original show, which is sure way to upset the fan base. While the film does have its fair share of flaws and widely considered Mann€™s worst film, it has plenty of redeeming qualities and the fans should look beyond the TV series and appreciate the film€™s own identity. It€™s visually stunning and has a sense of realism, however it€™s not necessarily an edge of your seat thriller and requires patience. Miami Vice seems to be on its way to finding its audience after nearly nine years, but for now it€™s still considered a weak adaptation of the popular TV series.
