10 Movies That Should Have Cult Followings By Now

8. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Year Of Release: 2007 Rotten Tomatoes Score: 75% Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is another comedy from the Judd Apatow gang of producers, but unfortunately it sits at the bottom of the list in terms of popularity behind other comedies like Talladega Nights, Pineapple Express, and Anchorman. It€™s definitely has a more slapstick tone and is just overall far more silly than all the other Apatow entries combined, but that€™s the beauty of it. It€™s also a direct spoof of the critically acclaimed Johnny Cash biography Walk The Line, so the film has a fair share of original music and it€™s actually surprisingly catchy and very enjoyable. Apatow took a risk with Walk Hard back in €™07 and it ended up underperforming despite the love from the critics. A little over seven years later and the film still hasn€™t really gained much popularity even though it€™s arguably one of Apatow€™s best comedies to date.
