10 Movies That Should Have Cult Followings By Now

5. The 6th Day

Year Of Release: 2000 Rotten Tomatoes Score: 41% At the turn of the 21st century Arnold Schwarzenegger made the right career move by returning to the role that is second nature to him: action. Unfortunately, his return didn€™t really bring in any big bucks as the film went on to bomb at the box office. Critics weren€™t too kind either as they commonly referred to it as a €œgeneric€ sci-fi thriller. Another Schwarzenegger action flick that definitely deserves more attention and recognition, The 6th Day is a clever, well-crafted, sci-fi thriller with a very intriguing premise that revolves around the ethics of cloning. Perhaps it was the lack of action and violence that turned Arnie fans away, but the plot doesn€™t need to solely rely on the action sequences, as the film is much deeper than just guns and muscles. The 6th Day is definitely one of the most underrated Arnold films and maybe even among the best, so it really is quite shocking that nearly fifteen years later Arnie fans still haven€™t embraced this forgotten gem.
