10 Movies Fans Want To See That Marvel Studios Won't Make
1. Sentry
Chances are you may not have heard of The Sentry, but this relatively obscure - yet still extremely popular - Marvel Comics character is a hero fans have been demanding get his due on the big screen for several years now. Despite that, it's currently no closer to happening than any of the other characters mentioned throughout this feature.
Basically Marvel's Superman, The Sentry is completely unhinged and has a dark side known as The Void capable of tearing the Marvel Universe apart. He's also the mild-mannered guy known as Robert Reynolds, so don't discount him as a mere ripoff of DC's Man of Steel.
There's no doubt plenty of time for The Sentry to appear, but a movie doesn't seem like it's on the cards...after all, it probably would have happened by now, if so! Those hard to ignore similarities to Superman are likely the biggest issue for Marvel Studios, and as great as he is, an argument could be made that there are more interesting heroes to focus on than The Sentry.
