10 Movies Fans Want To See That Marvel Studios Won't Make

It took a while, but The Wasp finally got the chance to shine in 2018's Ant-Man and The Wasp. Unfortunately, she returned to the backburner for the last two Avengers movies, but will return in the planned third instalment of Ant-Man's franchise. The question is, doesn't Hope Van Dyne deserve better than that at this point?

The Ant-Man franchise is definitely profitable, but it's not one that comes close to the all-important $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. As a result, expecting any sort of spinoff - even for a lead character - seems naively optimistic, but it is something many fans out there are anxious to see.

Honestly, you can probably lump that A-Force (a female team of Avengers) movie in with this one, as Marvel Studios still seems uncertain about female-led franchises, and not even the likes of Brie Larson, Tessa Thompson, and Evangeline Lilly all approaching Kevin Feige about that has helped make it part of their Phase 4 plans. For now, the future is sadly not female for the Disney-owned company.
