(IMDB) Why It Deserves A Blu-Ray Release: Writer/Director Ingmar Bergman is one of the most acclaimed movie directors of all time; all of his films deserve to be seen. Persona is one of the most important and critically acclaimed films Ingmar has ever made. The film is deep with several layers of meaning and can be interpreted in many different ways (which is a reason why this film is so heavily discussed to this day). If you want a classic movie that plays outside of the box, or if you are new to Bergman or "art house" cinema, definitely give Persona a look.
