(IMDB) Why It Deserves A Blu-Ray Release: While some did not enjoy Vanilla Sky due to their already being familiar with Open Your Eyes (the 1997 Spanish movie that Vanilla Sky is based off of), when taken on its own terms, Vanilla Sky is fantastic. It's a film about relationships going south and having ramifications on future relationships. It also deals greatly with memory, how we shape it and most importantly, how it shapes us. If you dismissed it upon its first release, catching Vanilla Sky on Blu-Ray would be a great way to give it another shot.
