Release Date: December 21, 2016 There is only one thing you need to know about the upcoming sci-fi drama that is Passengers: it's set to star everybody's favourites Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, which is a cinematic match made if heaven if ever there was one. Are we dreaming? Having appeared on the The Black List back in 2007, Passengers has been vying to get made for a long ol' time. Written by Jon Spaihts, who wrote the initial, good first draft of Prometheus and the upcoming Doctor Strange film for Marvel, penned this awesome-story about a malfunction on a ship transporting passengers to an off-world colony that results in a man (Pratt) being woken up 60 years early. Afraid to die alone, he awakens Lawrence. Whatever genius over in Hollywood decided that we needed a movie with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt playing a couple... well, give that person a line of cocaine, will you? Throw in the director of last year's The Intimidation Game, and wonderful actors like Michael Sheen and Laurence Fishburne in supporting roles, and surely this is a motion picture that has the potential to reach that elusive 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes? Fingers crossed. Like this article? Do you think these films have the potential to reach 100% on Rotten Tomatoes? Let us know all your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below.
