2. Free Fire
Release Date: 2016 The simple premise behind Ben Wheatley's upcoming crime film, Free Fire, is so inherently delicious that the motion picture is just asking to be beloved by all who gaze upon it. Following a flawless run of films in Down Terrace, Kill List, Sightseers, A Field in England and the upcoming (and critically acclaimed) High Rise, Wheatley's next film - due for release at some point in 2016 - is based around two rival gangs who meet in a warehouse. And then something goes wrong. The whole film is set to take place in one fixed location, however, which gives it a unique, claustrophobic edge - and the cast list is downright phenomenal. Seriously: Free Fire stars Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Brie Larson, Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley, Noah Taylor, Sam Riley and many more. All threatening and subsequently killing one another in 1978 Boston. It's going to be the downright awesome throwback that is going to thrive by way of Wheatley's unique talent. Who'd want to hate on this film?
