10 Movies From 2017 That Deserve Razzie Awards (But Weren't Nominated)

9. Underworld: Blood Wars

Josh Trank Fantastic Four
Screen Gems

Underworld #5 deserves a nomination in the Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip Off Or Sequel category, if only to prevent the producers from green lighting another one. How many more times can we watch Kate Beckinsale going on the run after being betrayed by her vampire clan?

Released shortly before Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, it’s pretty much the same movie, with another kick ass heroine fighting some humourless villains (who you can tell are evil just by looking them) though the filmmakers have inserted a detail that distinguishes the movie in an overcrowded marketplace. Near the end of Blood Wars, Kate Beckinsale’s hair changes color slightly.

Otherwise, it’s just a movie to put on while doing the housework, with enough action to distract you now and then before all the dull talk sends you back to recaulking the bathtub.
