10 Movies From 2019 Everyone's Already Forgotten
1. Cold Pursuit
While this film was actually pretty enjoyable and fairly unique for a project in its genre, Cold Pursuit was plagued by incredibly bad press and timing.
The infamous Liam Neeson interview surrounding his previous racially motivated anger came out just before Cold Pursuit released, leading to the cancellation of its premiere in Los Angeles the day before it was slated to occur. Neeson's comments were directly inspired by a question about his character's own angry motivations, intrinsically linking its star's questionable personal comments to the project.
The film had a fairly high budget of $60 million, possibly expecting to be an early year box office success before the real competition kicked in. It only managed to earn $72 million worldwide and while its reviews were positive, just not enough people saw it or were willing to support Neeson at the time to go and see it. Shame, really.
