10 Movies Heroes You Didn't Realise Were Probably Psychopaths

10. Ferris Bueller - Ferris Bueller's Day Off

We're going to start this list strong with a character most of you are probably well-aware of: the professional slacker that is Ferris Bueller. In the movie, Bueller decides to fake an illness in order to stay home from school. That's not so bad, right? Few of us have never done such a thing. The movie escalates, however, when Ferris decides to pretend that he is dying. Why He's A Psychopath: That last line should have sold it already, but let's review. He's faking a terminal illness in order to do whatever he wants. Screw the consequences. That's pretty belligerent behavior, even for Matthew Broderick. But that's just it with Ferris Bueller. Everything is about him, and the entire world has to revolve around his needs. Oh, and that's not all. Not only is he skipping class and ruining his own education, he decided to get his girlfriend and best friend in on it too. You know, the people he's supposed to care about most in the world. In his mind, they should get in as much trouble as him. But hey, who hasn't tricked an entire city into collecting donations for a fake illness? Troublemakers will be troublemakers, I suppose. It doesn't end there. Even though his best friend, Cameron, has his own car, Ferris decides to manipulate him into stealing his dad's car for Ferris's own amusement. And when the car gets crashed, does Ferris help him out? Nope, Cameron has to deal with his father all on his own in the name of "standing up for yourself."
