10 Movies In The IMDb Bottom 100 Actually Worth Watching

10. Baby Geniuses (#100)

Baby Geniuses, a movie whose title alone renders it instantly insufferable, is currently positioned in 100th place on the IMDb Bottom 200, which essentially means that it's the "best" movie on the list. When that's the nicest thing you can say about a film, well... But whilst the worst movies are usually branded as such because they're totally and utterly boring, Baby Geniuses - thank God - actually manages to keep you interested for all of its runtime (though for the wrong reasons entirely). Because it is very terrible; there's no getting around that. But in a sort of curious, "I have to keep watching," "WTF?" way. It is a movie that defies the odds, after all; how did the studio convince Christopher Lloyd and Kathleen Turner to sign up to a movie with a plot about smart children battling evil scientists in 1999? Who came up with the story? Why does it have a sequel, for God's sake? Thing is: this was one of those '90s movies that, if you were exposed to it as a kid, you will probably remember fondly. But watch it again, because it is proof against the warping effects of nostalgia; proof that anything - seriously: anything - can be made "good" if you're made to embrace it as a child. Reliving it as an adult? It's a truly transformative experience.
