As the very first musical written by the dynamic duo Rogers and Hammerstein, Oklahoma! is set out west in 1906, featuring cowboy Curly McLain and his relationship with the lovely Laurey Williams, played by Shirley Jones. The only problem is that the farmhand Jud wants to marry Laurey too, and will do anything he can to sabotage their happy ending and get the girl.
