10 Movies Scenes That You Probably Fast-Forwarded As A Kid

7. He Needs Me - Popeye

Nobody is really sure what, exactly, Popeye actually is - is it supposed to be a full-on kids' movie, or are we looking at some ironic meta-movie from Robert Altman, who, yes, directed this thing? Whatever. Fact is, Popeye might have wormed its way into your VHS collection when you were small, and if you found yourself able to take Robin Williams doing an impression of the famous spinach-loving character, you probably liked the movie. For some reason, though, the writers of Popeye decided to implement a moment where it was required of Shelley Duvall's Olive Oyl to sing a full-on song. The song, "He Needs Me," is probably supposed to be lame and awkward, but that doesn't stop it from being really lame and awkward. So it's three minutes of Wendy from The Shining singing "He needs me, he needs me, he needs me," over and over again. QUICK: HIT FAST-FORWARD!
