10 Movies That Are Still Great After Twenty Viewings

8. Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of the first movies people seem to mention whenever somebody asks the question: "Which film can you watch over and over again without getting bored?" As a result, it's probably not a particularly surprising inclusion on this list - and yet it is a deserving one.

Generally speaking, Anchorman is dumb movie; it makes little to no sense, the jokes are crude and often contextless, and - on a first viewing - it's hard to see what's so great about it. But Anchorman is enhanced through dedication. If you want to love Anchorman, then you watch it twice, three times, four times, twenty times... and it'll happen. The jokes, though not particularly "clever," are almost artful in their absurdity.

They grow funnier every time you hear them - and not just because people have been quoting them over and over again for the past ten years, but because the sheer act of anticipating and then re-hearing said gags is wholly enjoyable in itself. Perhaps Anchorman's most endurable trait, however, is its breezy pacing and lack of "boring" scenes - going back to it promises a feast of fun, which means that - having seen it twenty times - it still works.
