10 Movies That Completely Swap Genre For Just One Scene

8. Evil Baymax - Big Hero 6

What is known in my house as the €˜Bad Baymax€™ scene takes a fun superhero romp and turns it into a genuinely frightening horror film for a moment. This comes at a point in the animated Marvel movie where Hiro is on the verge of having vengeance on the man who essentially killed his brother. He takes out the programming chip that gives Baymax his loveable, caring personality and tells him to €˜destroy€™ the villainous Professor Callaghan. Left with only his fighting chip to control him, Baymax€™s eyes go red and he starts firing fist cannons at the evil Prof. Henry Jackman€™s sombre song Silent Sparrow flares up in the soundtrack, as Baymax violently pushes his friends out of the way to get to Callaghan. This scene externalises Hiro€™s anger, and proves the important point that he€™s not ready to be a superhero just yet. For now, he€™s just an angry, grieving young man.
