10 Movies That End In Utter Silence
1. These Final Hours
This low-budget Australian post-apocalyptic thriller is by far the least well-known movie on this list, but nevertheless an impressive stab at tackling a high-concept premise with limited resources.
The film follows James (Nathan Phillips), a young man who is counting down the hours before Perth is engulfed by a world-annihilating firestorm created by an asteroid collision, and true to its word, the film indeed ends with James, Perth, and the entire world being wiped out.
The credits then aptly play out in complete silence, as if to underline the emptiness of a universe where the human race no longer exists. Haunting.
