10 Movies That Judged You At The End

7. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

In slightly (hugely) more light-hearted fashion now, we have Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

While most films would love for you to sit through the end credits and read the name of every last person who worked on it, the classic Matthew Broderick-starring comedy decided instead to poke a little fun at those who bothered to stick around.

After the end credits finish, we cut back to Ferris (Broderick) in his bathrobe at home, telling the audience that the movie is over and they should go home.

As Ferris walks back into the bathroom, he seems mildly irritated that you're still hanging around, and would clearly rather that you be literally anywhere else.

This was rather hilariously parodied in the first Deadpool movie, where the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) similarly emerges from the bathroom in a robe and tells the viewer to leave the cinema, assuring them that the filmmakers didn't have the money to produce a teaser for Deadpool 2.

He tells us, "Were you expecting Sam Jackson to show up in an eye patch, and a saucy little leather number? Go, go," and then returns to reveal that Cable will appear in the sequel, as of course turned out to be true.
