10 Movies That Made You Cheer Brutal Moments

8. Scarface - Montana's Last Stand

The iconic ending of this film is what everyone remembers and makes Scarface an extremely worthy entry on the list. The final shootout sees Tony Montana high as a kite as he tries to single handedly take down drug rival Sosa's crew, with the help of his 'little friend'.

While he barely even qualifies as an anti-hero, we still find ourselves cheering Montana on, as Al Pacino brings the epic encounter to bloody life. Despite being severely outnumbered, it feels like Montana will actually get the job done. Bodies fly, blood flows, and the kill count rises as the slaughter continues.

The film makes the right call in killing him off though, as pulling off the impossible would have still been a little too implausible, as much as audiences wanted it. Instead we get to see Montana go down in a blaze of glory, and we love every minute of it.
