10 Movies That Made You Watch Other Movies

One of the most memorable gags in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent sees playboy Javi (Pedro Pascal) reveal that his third-favourite movie of all time is Paddington 2, much to Nicolas Cage's (as himself) incredulity.

Javi says, "I cried through the entire thing, it made me want to be a better man," and while Cage is skeptical, we then smash-cut to him sobbing while watching the film and exclaiming, "Paddington 2 is incredible."

It's safe to say that a legion of Nic Cage fans who likely wouldn't have bothered with Paddington 2 otherwise couldn't resist but give it a go, even if only to see if the family comedy's effusive praise was genuine or not.

Which, as anyone who's seen Paddington 2 will know, it clearly was. Better yet, both Pascal and Cage are themselves fans of the film.
