Do I even need to explain why this should be included? Sometimes I think the phrase €œoften imitated, never duplicated€ was coined solely to refer to this film. It€™s not just the fact that Quentin Tarantino plays fast and loose with the story structure. He also populates the film with intriguing characters and gives them some of the most delectable dialogue of the last twenty years. It may have lost the Oscar for Best Picture to Forrest Gump but its influence on filmmaking as a whole will be felt for years if not decades to come. Oh and by the way, anyone who tells you they know what was inside the briefcase is lying!
