Phase Three of the MCU only gets under way next year with Captain America: Civil War, but that plan isn't enough for Marvelites. Speculation is already rife about which moves will make up the fourth chapter in the franchise after Inhumans (or whatever else Marvel Studios decide to fit in after Inhumans, given the recent announcement that three untitled projects will be squeezed in somewhere) brings the third chapter to a close in 2019. It is generally believed that Marvel Studios have a plan in place to take the franchise all the way up to 2028, but fans currently have absolutely no idea about what will happen between then and 2019. Most people know what they want to see and everyone and their dog has had a guess about the collection of films that will be part of Phase Four, but which movies would be ideal when it specifically comes to opening up that fourth phase?
10. Sentry
What better way to kick-off a new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than by triggering the world's memories of a hero they'd all forgotten about? The Sentry AKA Robert Reynolds was a very unique character in that, when he was officially introduced in the year 2000, his gimmick was that he was a former superhero who had existed for a long time but, due to the danger posed by his evil alter-ego the Void, he had erased the world's memories of him and decided to live a normal life. The return of the Void prompted him to remind the world of his existence. Sentry would also be a great character to kick-off Phase Four because of how powerful he is. After the events that will unfold in the Infinity War, it's going to take something huge to make Phase Four interesting. Sentry is the most powerful Avenger ever - his power dwarfs that of even Thor - as he is powered by a serum meant to be one thousand times more potent than the one used by Captain America (it is said to give him "the power of a million exploding suns"). Those levels of power, his aforementioned memory gimmick, plus the fact that the Void would make a great villain for Phase Four, would make a Sentry solo movie a great way to open the MCU's fourth chapter.
