7. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

The Marvel Cinematic Universe blasted off into space in Phase Two with Guardians of the Galaxy and Phase Three will see further exploration of the cosmos in the form of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the Avengers: Infinity War movies. However, every phase of the franchise to date has been predominantly based on Earth. If Marvel Studios want to make Phase Four different, they could focus the entirety of it on exploring the cosmos and introducing new space-based characters - and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 would be the perfect way to get those plans under way. It isn't known exactly what will happen with regards to the Avengers after the Infinity War movies, but several of the actors who make up the team will be at the end of their contracts with Marvel Studios. The Guardians of the Galaxy could easily become the new faces of the franchise and subsequent films with the likes of the Nova Corps/Nova, the Annihilators and Quasar (for example) could continue the space theme and give the Guardians some new allies and enemies to work with in the future.
