8. The Time Traveler€™s Wife

A young girl meets a man in a field who disappears and reappears, in and out of her life, until she is in college. When she meets him then, she has grown quite attached and attracted to him, and he to her, so they fall in love and marry. It is revealed that he can travel through time, though is unable to control it. She doesn't care and the two swear they will live a normal life together. So, they have a baby and the husband keeps disappearing and ruining holidays until he dies. However, not all of these stories have a clear cut happy ending. The happy ending in this movie is the silver lining, which is that the girl had managed to get through the normal stages of life with a very abnormal partner. The sappy music in the trailer says it all, folks. This one is going to make you cry. But you already knew that! This movie is a guaranteed cry-fest because everything seems to be working out, the two lovers are fighting the odds, until the end when you realize that, because this isn€™t an animated movie, there will not be a happy ending.
