10 Movies We Want In Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4

1. Vision And Scarlet Witch

The MCU has given us a political thriller and a space opera. It's given us a war film, a comedy and a heist story. It's explored virtually every genre and sub-genre under the sun, but one type of film it's never delivered is a romantic drama.

Sure, there are plenty of couples in the MCU, but they're rarely the focus of the story; more often than not, they're used as a bit of side conflict to spice up proceedings. But Vision and Scarlet Witch's rather unique relationship is one that's begging to be explored.

Yes, nobody wants to see a soppy romance movie when they sit down to watch a superhero blockbuster, so ideally, the movie would find the two paired up to work on a mission of some sort - using this concept, the dynamic between the two will always be at the forefront.

Vision's more calm, collected persona versus Scarlet Witch's more brash take on the world would provide plenty of opportunity for both comedic relief and genuine drama; Scarlet Witch might want to kill, whereas Vision might want to capture, for example.

They're not an official couple in the MCU just yet (though leaked set pictures suggest that's about to change), but when they inevitably do get together, giving these troubled characters more time in the spotlight would be an interesting and refreshing move.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
