10 Movies We Want In Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4
7. Lady Liberators
Shortly before the release of Thor: Ragnarok, a story broke that Tessa Thompson (who plays Valkyrie in the Thor sequel) had marched up to Kevin Feige and asked him about an all-female superhero team-up movie, to which Feige simply responded "yes".
That's by no means a confirmation, but Feige's positive response to the idea means that we could realistically see an all-female Avengers-style crossover at some point in the MCU. This idea isn't as far-fetched as it might appear, because in the comics, it's happened before.
First appearing in 1970, The Lady Liberators were a team that originally consisted of Wasp, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, and Medusa, with Valkyrie as their leader. Over the years, the team has included members like Storm, Spider-Woman, Tigra and Hellcat - it's basically a female superhero hall of fame.
Every character from that original team (bar Medusa) has already been established in the MCU, so all the pieces are in place. There would need to be a very well-reasoned story point to explain why none of the men are around, but given that Avengers: Infinity War is set to bring together every corner of the MCU, grouping up Marvel's ladies is an idea that's very close to fruition.
