6. The Dark Knight Rises
It was difficult to call this a Batman film. It was instead more of a "Bane tries really hard to be the Joker'" kind of movie. The Dark Knight Rises drew itself out too long - so long that you were able to ponder the holes and broken bridges that stringed this film together from beginning to end. There were a lot of scenes and moments I enjoyed, but were never enough to actually have me buy the Blu-Ray or consider watching it again during its television debut. The Dark Knight Rises is the one of the trilogy that came out of the oven a little overdone, forcing some fans to enjoy other than willingly wanting to do so. I sadly cannot say I'm one to sit through a comic book movie that is way too long, dry, and self-absorbed for its own good.
