10 Movies You Didn't Know Had Secret Post-Credits Sequences

7. Lethal Weapon 3 (1992)

By the time the third Lethal Weapon flick came around, the comedy aspects had been heightened to dangerous levels, though the movie is still charming and action-packed enough to justify its existence as a second sequel. Tasked with hunting down an ex-cop who is targeting old associates, Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Murtaugh (Danny Glover) spend much of the movie shooting the sh*t and getting into hilarious scrapes in true Lethal Weapon style.

One such scrape (unrelated to the movie's central narrative) opens the movie, with the duo being called to check out a car park with a bomb inside it. Riggs and Murtaugh make a mess of that situation - one which ends in a huge explosion - and, according to the film's post-credits scene, fail to learn from their mistakes.

The scene shows the bickering buddies responding to yet another bomb alert, though this time they only have to drive close to the building for it to explode. Presumably director Richard Donner had secured some good footage of a demolition and didn't want to waste it. Fine with us - who wouldn't want to sit through the credits to catch such an impressive explosion?
