3. Marley & Me

You laughed. And then you cried. For weeksIf you don't know what happens in the hit motion picture Marley & Me, avert your eyes right this second as this article is going to discuss a crucial and rather upsetting plot turn that takes place at the end of the film - one that, if you're still reading this for some reason, you've probably guessed.

Yes, Marley & Me was that loveable movie starring Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and a dog named Marley. It made for great fun for all the family... that is until the film decided to kill Marley at the very end, which has likely been the source of your depression ever since.

Anyway, Marley & Me is currently being developed as a full-blown television event - one that will presumably leave you feeling more on edge than an episode of Game of Throne. Even if they tell us they won't kill the dog, how can we trust them? You know it'll happen eventually, don't you?

Apparently the series will act as "sequel," with the same characters - not played by Wilson and Aniston - adopting a neglected dog and renaming him Marley, because then the title of the show works, see? A pilot has already been shot, apparently, based on a script written by Sex And The City's Jenny Bicks, set to air in late 2015.

Is It A Good Idea? Rumour has it that this is going to be shot as traditional, single-camera sitcom. So, no, it's not a great idea. Also: the human race can't take anymore dog death!
