10 Movies You Didn't Know Are Becoming TV Shows

Just when you thought they'd finally called it a day on those insufferable Resident Evil movies - wham! - a brand new TV series is announced to coincide with the release of the last film. Who'd have guessed it?

The five Resident Evil flicks to date are based on the super popular video game series of the same name, of course, and star Milla Jovovich as a badass action heroine who just won't stay dead. The sixth and supposedly last movie, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (it's really called that) is set to be released at some point in 2016.

German production house Constantin Film is set to take the reins on the show, which doesn't sound particularly promising, does it? Nobody knows whether Resident Evil will act as a spin-off from the films, or as a reboot. Let's hope somebody just forgets to make it instead.

Is It A Good Idea? The Walking Dead - an admittedly good show - can barely sustain itself for long stretches, so it doesn't bode well for this. Unless they just play it super cheesy like the games instead?
