10 Movies You Forgot Had Incredible Casts (And Why You Forgot)

2. Movie 43

Anchorman 2 Thumb
Relativity Media

This cringe comedy is award winning. It was voted the worst director and screenplay at the Razzies and nominated for many more. The haphazard structure, editing, comedy, acting etc. all add up to make this one of the rottenest movies of 2013.

However, despite a terrible script and a lame SNL format, this movie still brought together some of the biggest stars in Hollywood for an opportunity to see the inside of the bargain bin. Halle Berry and Naomi Watts brought huge attention to this film because of their Razzie nominations for Worst Actress. The segments of the films hid some terrible performances from actors who really weren’t used to a comedic role.

Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Emma Stone, Common, Greg Kinnear, Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Gerard Butler, Terrence Howard, Kate Bosworth and Elizabeth Banks all struggled, and it was just too obvious. But the pity shouldn’t be just directed at them as even some brilliant comic actors couldn’t keep this sinking ship afloat including Seth McFarlane, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Justin Long, Sean William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, Patrick Warburton, Jason Sudeikis, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Chloë Grace Moretz. One of the most star-studded films of the decade was sadly a difficult and messy one and a half hour pity parade.

The Reason Why You Forgot - The humour and first year film student level production level really make the credits the most enjoyable part. No one would be blamed for not even making it to the end to see every single actor who signed on for his movie.

I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
