10 Movies You Should Refuse To Watch On Moral Grounds

1. The Ridiculous Six

In the first of six motion pictures recently agreed to in a deal with Netflix (God have mercy), Adam Sandler's upcoming "comedy," The Ridiculous Six, purports to be a kind of humorous take on westerns such as The Magnificent Seven. It's not out yet, but it will be to available to view on the Netflix platform by the end of the year. The movie sparked controversy earlier in the month when a number of Native American actors appealed to Sandler with regards to content they deemed to be offensive and racist. Instead of handling the situation with respect, said Native American actors were told to leave the set if they didn't like the way their characters were being depicted, so they did. What's clear here, however, is that Sandler and his production team have little time for things like common decency, and are content to fuel racial stereotypes for the sake of a few cheap "laughs" - to the chagrin of a race of entire people. Why would it be immortal to watch this movie, then? Because it's bottom of the barrel crap, that's why, and society deserve better; going along with the idea that non-ironic racial jokes are acceptable nowadays is just not on. Humanity has reached a point in which regressive garbage like The Ridiculous Six only serves to play down the issues of racial equality. If this movie succeeds, Sandler could potentially unleash 5 more films across the span of the next five years, and that thought isn't worth baring. Do the world a favour: avoid The Ridiculous Six come release day like a plague of small pox; it's the right thing to do.
