4. Dean Norris - Get The Gringo (2012)
Hank Schrader, our favourite Breaking Bad DEA agent, is played by Dean Norris, who actually has a degree in English Literature from Harvard. When getting into acting, Norris was generally typecast as military personnel or some type of law-enforcement-based character. Which probably helped with his confidence in playing Schrader. Norris recently starred in B-movie Get the Gringo alongside Mel Gibson. The movie probably would have done a lot better than it did, but it was filmed just as Gibson went into his spectacular breakdown. Instead, the film's release was limited and only came out on video-on-demand in the United States. The film, written by Gibson, has Norris playing a corrupt U.S. Boarder guard who chases Gibson's character, a bank robber, across the border into Mexico. While only in small role, Norris does get to call someone a "Beaner," making it completely worth watching. It's also a fun and bloody exploitation homage.
