9. J'son Of Spartax
At the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, it was confirmed that Peter Quill was an alien/human hybrid (with that being the reason his body could contain the power of the Orb for so long without being destroyed). Therefore, given that his mother was a human woman, it became apparent that his father must have been an alien and, as such, there's no doubt that plot element will be explored in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and we will meet his father on screen. Quills father in the comic books is Json of Spartax the Emperor of the Spartoi Empire who, while human in appearance, is 100% Spartoi. In the first movie, it turned out that Quill was taken from Earth by the Ravagers to deliver him to his father, but they never fulfilled their contract to do so. His father may, therefore, come looking for him and it'll be great to see him in the sequel.
