10 New Films You Didn't Expect From Dead Movie Franchises (That Look Terrible)

8. Transformers 4

Transformers The placing of Transformer 4 so low on this list is mainly due to the large exposure Michael Bay€™s self contradictory announcement, but it still deserves a placing because there is no way the film will be anything other than utter rubbish. All three of the Transformers films are completely devoid of merit; notable, but not groundbreaking special effects, horrendously shot cinematography and an internal logic that is more broken than Bumblebee€™s voice. Time and again they are used as proof that audience wants are out of sync with the critics who slam them, but from my perspective it really says more about how numb viewers are to mundanity. The fourth Transformers sees serial apologist Shia LaBeouf replaced by Mark Wahlberg and with the robot voices the only key cast to return. No official plot is available, but in the ever predictable nature of Michael Bay, the previous three films tell us everything we need to know; some element of human history will be revealed to be Transformer related and dangerous to us now, Megatron will return to do nothing and there will be action that is loud and makes no sense. There €“ I just saved you a tenner.
