10 New Films You Didn't Expect From Dead Movie Franchises (That Look Terrible)

7. Kung Fu Panda 3

Kung Fu Panda Now the ending of the outrageously mediocre Kung Fu Panda 2 may have hinted heavily at this (as well as nullifying the actually wholesome message of the series of trying hard to succeed), but it certainly seemed unlikely that a follow up to the short and bland sequel would materialise and if it did, there would be little life beyond it. Well Panda 2 went on to rake in over half a billion at the box office (depressingly making it the most lucrative film by a female director) and a third film is on the way in 2015. But not only are we getting Kung Fu Panda 3, but the chances of 4, 5 and 6 are likely. Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffery Katzenberg has stated that the Kung Fu Panda series is actually a story in six parts, almost matching Peter Jackson€™s 'The Hobbit is three films for artistic reasons' claim as the biggest lie in cinema. If the story really was six parts, you€™d imagine the first entry would have at least one element hinting at a wider world.
