9. The Amazons Are Guarding A Mother Box

Conny Nielsen's Hippolyta got a lot to do in this trailer, which, apart from being awesome in its own right, also tells us that the Amazons are set to play a large role in Justice League.
Halfway through the trailer we see Diana's mother and the Amazons guarding what looks to be a Mother Box, a piece of New Genesis technology that can open boom tubes (a kind of teleportation device) as and when a user requires. A departure, then, for fans accustomed to the gear-granting boxes of NetherRealm's Injustice series, but an authentic portrayal nonetheless. We don't know how Hippolyta came into possession of the device, but it is clear that it's been placed under lock and key for a reason.
At the other end of the boom tube stands Steppenwolf, and from the looks of things he's arrived with a massive axe to grind (literally).
The trailer also gave us a look at the Amazons charging into battle to fight a bunch of Parademons, which is just about the most awesome visual ever put to screen, really.
