2. Christopher Walken - Gigli
Gigli is one movie in a fairly small pool of movies genuinely considered to be "the worst movie ever made," and if you've actually had the unlucky fortune to sit through Martin Brest's devastatingly awful romantic comedy (which starred Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez at the height of their fame), then my God, are you okay? Do you need to sit down? Take a seat. Breathe. Good Jesus, why did you do that to yourself? Didn't somebody warn you about this movie? There is a singular beacon of light buried deep within the crevices of abomination that make up every inch of
Gigli, though: a performance by veteran actor Christopher Walken, who wanders into the middle of the movie, apparently oblivious to how awful it is, and delivers a nutty cameo that only he could pull off. Sure, nothing can really redeem
Gigli to the point where somebody might be glad they went to see it, but when Walken pops up it feels like a genuine gift from the Lord above here. For a brief time, you don't actually feel the need to gorge out your own eyes.
