10 Obscure Horror Movies You Need To Discover

2. I Saw The Devil (2010)

When his pregnant fiancée becomes the latest victim of a serial killer, a secret agent blurs the line between good and evil in his pursuit of revenge. Quite simply one of the best films I have ever seen, and whilst anyone who is a fan of Asian cinema may feel this isn't obscure enough, or maybe not a horror film by definition, I'm still going to include this in my list. I Saw The Devil has grossed very little money outside of Asia, so that makes it obscure enough for the rest of the world in my eyes!

It is just an astonishing and violent film, and one that never lets up. The serial killer is played by the superb Choi Min-Sik (Oldboy) and Lee Byung-Hun (A Bittersweet Life) plays the special agent. The kills and nature of this film puts it in the 'horror' category in my opinion, and more than worthy of not only a place on my list, but in your movie collection. This is quite simply a must see piece of cinema.
